Trying new things! Bought my self some aquarell and just started. This is my second painting so I feel I yet have a lot to learn. But it is so much fun!

I like to mix things, so in this piece I have used aquarell, pencils and markers.

Much fun indeed. so inspiring work and technique. And great idea, outlining those strokes with marker.

Thank you! It is some kind of crappy paper I think. It was one of my first paintings so I had´nt bought quality paper yet :)

Yeah. Tried bit of marker stuff on good thick aquarell paper, and i guess it will ruin the marker.

I use that same paper now with markers and it works perfectly! But I think you got to have good markers too.

Yes it works perfectly. Im just afraid that ink drains out, because it gets *absorbed? really much.

But if you say so, i guess it's ok then.

*I don't know the right definition.

Just make sure you apply the markers after the painting has dried. If you want to do it the other way around I think you have to use ink instead.
